InsightsHow we work · 1 min read
A price before a conversation is a guess. Here is what we do instead, and why it protects you more than a number would.

Two businesses send us the same six words: “How much for a website?”
One needs five pages and a contact form that works. The other has been taking bookings on WhatsApp for two years, and what they are describing, without knowing it yet, is a booking system. Same words. Completely different jobs.
Any number we gave either of them on the spot would be wrong. Too high for the first, who would leave. Too low for the second, who would get a website that does not solve their problem, and a second invoice when they found out.
The fear was never the price
Almost everyone who has bought software in this market has a story about the second invoice: the project that was quoted at one figure and finished at another, with every increase explained after the work was done.
So we do it the other way round. We ask what is actually going wrong. Then you get a fixed number, in writing, for a scope we both agreed. If the scope changes, we tell you before we do the work. There is no VAT added at the end, because we are not VAT-registered. The number you are quoted is the number you pay.
What you get on the first call
Roughly where you stand, out loud, early enough to walk away if it is not for you. And if the honest answer is that software will not fix it, we say that too.
It is a slower first step. It is also the reason the last step does not come with a surprise.
